Exercise panning camera at various shutter speeds

I took shots at varying speed the results are below. The faster speeds freeze the shot effectively whilst the very sow shutter speeds blurred both the rider and the background.

I think that the most effective shots are those at around 1/50 to 1/30 shutter speed as those convey a sense of motion nicely blurring the background and keeping enough detail in the cyclist.
